I do this for the Marquette boards and figured I'd post this over here. Just a weekly view of the updated conference tournament bracket. This is updated for all games through Sun, Feb 9th.

I love the Jays at #2 although I'd prefer one obviously. I'd prefer to avoid SJU on their home court in our first ever tourney game though. Hard to see them finishing in 7th now.

Great idea, MUBB. Thanks for posting that. It's a fun way to consider each and every game's outcome (and the seeding effects) for the rest of the season.

What are the tiebreakers? Head to head and then what?

Good question. With the 10 team league and new game schedule I'm not sure it has been announced.

I'd kind of guess maybe records vs each other seed.. so for instance, PC would be in good shape in any tie due to their win vs Creighton.

looking at the match-ups and all I can think about is the fact I really wouldn't want to play Georgetown in a first round game. Great post though, I really like being able to visualize the tournament bracket.

Quick glance at remaining schedules, and I do mean quick, I come up with this:

Nova (15-3)
Creighton (14-4)
Xavier (11-7)
Marquette (10-8)

Providence (9-9)
Georgetown (9-9)
St. John's (9-9) [I have no idea how these three will be separated]

Seton Hall (5-13)
Butler (5-13)
DePaul (2-16)

If this comes to fruition, and again, my math was quick, a team tied for 5th, and a game out of 4th, will be in the play-in game. Really jammed up in the middle of the league.

One last thought, I was the lone voice of reason about questioning Xavier when they were 5-1, which has largely come to fruition. That said, I think they win tonight, home for DePaul, get the return game with Seton Hall in Joysey, and then beat both #1 and #2 when they host them at Cintas Center. I then think they lose their first game in the BET in MSG to whomever they play.
