If you are referring to my comments RSN I'd like you to take the time and please point out the exact words that I used that we're disparaging to SJU or "angry." Honestly what is your issue dude?

Good game Jay fans! That was a hell of game, and lived up to my expectations. Both teams played hard and once again came down to the end. I wish you guys nothing but good luck the rest of the regular season. Dougie is a beast.

You said CU has classy fans and that "C-7 fans can learn a thing or two from them". Clearly a dig at SJ fans given your track record. At least have the courage to admit you are putting down a fan base when you do it.

Same to you NJRedman and the rest of Red Storm Nation... that was a fun game to watch! Frustrated that the Jays were so close to being a Top 10 team but yet still so far (gotta give credit to your team for finishing the job tonight), but losing to a talented SJU team at the Garden is nothing to be too disappointed about as a CU fan. Looking forward to seeing what your team does the rest of the way out, I think you guys are going to keep on rolling, and get right on to the bubble in the next 2 weeks... and maybe we'll get that rubber match in the BE Tourney next month... Good luck to Red Storm Nation the rest of the way - until the Jays and Johnnies meet again .

I still do not get how St. Johns lost so many games. They are really good.

ESPN Sports Center has spent 20 minutes on a college football player coming out of the closet. Nothing wrong with that, but why spend all this time on that? Just goes to show ESPN thinks that anything in college football is more interesting than college hoops and especially Big East hoops. They opened up with the story, went to recap the Cuse game and some women's games, now it's back to the same opening story the Mizzou player coming out. Anyone else thinking to themselves "ENOUGH!"? This has nothing to do with politics, it's just the amount of coverage ESPN is giving this. Still nothing on the CU/SJ game 40 minutes into SC. Is this really a bigger story than an unranked team starting 0-5 beating the #12 team and entering the tournament bubble conversation? Jeez.

ESPN really picks and chooses the stories they want to push. It's not about relevant sports news. When college football gets more coverage for a player's personal life off the field than a relevant Big East game with possible tourney implications in March, you know they have gone off the deep end.

EDIT: A full cycle of Sports Center just went through. Not even the slightest mention of the #12 Creighton vs. SJ game at MSG. Lol…you really can't make this stuff up. But hey, let's spend an hour talking about a college football player's personal life and Marcus Smart attacking a fan. How many more ways can they put it? It's like they are trying to put a microscope to irrelevant things. Instead of talking actual sports they are talking about off the field/court issues. It has never been this bad.

Back from the Garden. Great game. Creighton is a good team and they are never out of it. I will say one thing, and I'm not a basher, but Creighton likes to flop a bit. They kept showing it over and over on the Garden vision. That is something that is generally foreign to the big east. Hard fouls have always been the name if the game. I remember in Louisville's first season Rick Pitino said a numbernof his player were getting hit and getting no calls. He told them this is the Big East, not needlepoint. It's football indoors and they had to get used to it. I think Creighton will get used to it as well. They are certainly having a great first season and I still think they are the team that will go the farthest in league in the NCAA. But it was a great game and I don't think anyone in red at the Garden was comfortable until about the five second mark knowing McDermott was on the floor. Saw a kid with his family outside the Garden with a great sign - "Omaha is the Big East". Loved it.
St. John's is a heck of a team, and has really put itself in position to maybe grab a bid in the Big Dance, just have to keep up their hot streak and they will be fine.
Thanks, Creighton is a great team and will be scary in the NCAA Tourny. They are already there, just playing for seeding at this point.

As for the Redmen, great win tonight over a very tough Creighton team.Though we`re still a game under 500, and I will not crack a smle until we get to 500, and I`ll only smile a little. We still have alot of work to do to get to the NCAA tourny, as i said since off season, it`s ncaa or bust.
Kids can enjoy tonight but it`s back to work in the morning to prep for SHU.

I've noticed this of late too....not SC because I stopped watching that about 5 years ago when it started deviating from the nightly sports highlight show. But the ESPN.com website won't have anything on it for many of the games. Cbssports.com had nothing at all on their front page Friday night when Doug went for 32. If a POY candidate in one of their conferences had 32, it would have been the banner story. Before now I assumed that lack of these things was a function of being a Valley team. Guess I was oblivious to how political their motives were on sites I went to for sports news.
