UA has been very, very refreshing in terms of being bold and giving us fresh designs not only on our jerseys, but also on the shoot around gear including jackets, t-shirts, and long sleeve shirts. The skyline, subway lines, and a crown ontop of an interlocking "SJ" implying "King of NY" have all been utilized. Everythong looks amazing. Though the team has been worse than we ever could have imagined coming into this season, there is still a very big demand for the new UA gear. I've seen tons of fans on instagram asking where they can purchase it, I've emailed our athletic department, and I've personally contacted UA asking what was going on. They say new gear will be in by the beginning of the season. Not there. Then it will be there in time for Big East play. Not there. Then they said last week they were getting a new shipment of new gear both online and in the store. I've been checking since last Monday. Nothing.

UA tells me to be patient and tries to assure me that it's coming. Yeah? So is Christmas. So much demand, so little supply. As a result, people are spending hundreds of dollars on standard jerseys and other team shirts on the online auctions because that's the only place you can get the gear right now. Students can't afford that. So we are left saying "wow that shirt is awesome!", yet not being able to buy it. With the season quickly drawing to a close, the fan morale and eagerness for basketball gear will go flat. They haven't even made replica jerseys available yet. How hard is it to make a bunch of cheap replica jerseys and sell them for $75? The team has lost thousands by not properly making this stuff available. Any other SJ fans notice this? Or do other teams have this issue with their outfitter?

Creighton has the same problem with replica jerseys. The only one available is a Nike home white McDermott jersey. THey don't sell any road jerseys so I ended up getting a chinese knockoff road blue McDermott jersey that is actually better quality (hand stitched lettering of Creighton and McDermott on the back) than the Nike one and is 1/2 the price!

I think the gear for Creighton will improve DRASTICALLY probably more so than any other team since jumping to the Big East. You guys have the platform that you deserve now. The thing with Nike is that if you are not a blue blood i.e. G'Town (Jordan is Nike), Nova, etc. then they tend to forget about you. St. John's had Nike and it was terrible. They gave us a very basic design with very plain stripes on the side. I can understand with mid majors doing that but high level teams should be more flashy. I think UA will really takeoff…having them outfit our program has been awesome. They make you feel like you are their priority rather than an afterthought like Nike. UA comes up with tons and tons of different designs incorporating things Nike never did i.e. the whole NYC aspect with the skyline as well as a throwback jersey that is nice and crisp.

I really like Creighton's new logo and you guys will only get more and more options going forward in terms of fan gear. If you don't mind me asking, where did you go to get the chinese knockoff? If UA doesn't want my money, the Chinese will! Nike doesn't really try anything drastic or experiment with much unless you are one of their favorite select schools unfortunately. That's what turned our fans off to them. It gets old. It's so frustrating because we wanted new designs and jerseys so badly. We finally got it, and we are ecstatic seeing the players wearing all these awesome shirts/jerseys, but then we can't get our hands on it. Want to know how to sell out the Garden? Give these exclusive shirts out 1 game! That's how in demand they are. Surely Creighton must have a very high demand as well…especially now at its peak with the POY ranked near the top 10 selling out games. It's almost as if Nike and UA don't realize that dragging their feet making this stuff available to fans is costing them tons of money and exposure. I see kids at the high school I work at wearing St. John's shirts all the time. I know they'd think the new ones with the skyline and the king of NY design were cool enough to wear to school. Very rarely in this day in age do a bunch of people beg a company to take their money and have the company tell them to wait and be patient!

I got mine on eBay but if you Google McDermott jersey you can probably find it but youll have to buy in bulk.

Wow…Under Armour is awesome! Look at the new gear…they said there's still plenty more to come but they just released a few!
