Good grief.

I guess someone was hammered when they sent in their vote.

Maybe that person was drinking with Seth Davis. Check out his ballot, Creighton at #24 and he put Nebraska, yes, Nebraska as #26 or "in consideration."

I saw that last night. A friend asked me if Nebraska had a basketball team.

Wait, is that the same Nebraska who is 10-9 while playing a crappy non-conference schedule and who recently went on a five-game losing streak? That Nebraska? Wow, what is Seth Davis smoking?

I'm sure he's just giving them credit for getting 2 nice home wins Nebraska isn't supposed to get. I really doubt he's serious. I really hope he's not serious... Number 26 isn't actually a vote, so he could put anyone there if he wanted, even American.

Seth just did his Miley Cyrus cry/twerk for attention.

John Feinstein put American at #25.
They just won at Army.
They have a big test Wednesday night when they host Navy.
Word on the street is that the Coast Guard is ducking them.

vs. RPI TOP 25 1-1
vs. RPI TOP 50 4-3
vs. RPI TOP 100 9-3

Team B

As a CU fan, I wish my Bluejay brethren would quit whining about our ranking. It doesn't matter. But, for what it's worth, I think we are probably ranked where we should be. We looked like the 40th ranked team when we lost to Providence. (Recall that the game was never in doubt in the second half.) Against Villanova, we looked like the best team in the country. Against Georgetown, somewhere in the middle....I think #20 is about right. Beat a couple more good teams on the road in the next few weeks (e.g., Xavier, Marquette, Georgetown), then I may be convinced we are a top ten team.
No, not the real Bimbo Pietro....

For those Creighton fans who live and breathe rankings, just have patience. In the AP Poll this week, # 11 Kentucky, #14 Wisconsin, #15 Iowa, #16 Iowa State, and #18 Pitt have already lost. #13 Cincinnati plays #12 Louisville today, so there will be another loss of a ranked team. Duke at #17 plays #2 Syracuse in the game of the weekend on Saturday, so there is another possible spot if Duke looses. With no Creighton games this weekend, an upward move of 2 to 5 will happen due to attrition, even with the stinky win over St. Johns.

Looks like SLU and Creighton will be very close yet again.
