Also, I know the funds raised by CU go to cancer research, not solely breast cancer research. For our games at least, I know the pink is for all cancer, not just breast cancer.... Pink attracts more attention, especially when one of our regular colors is blue....

That's probably the most significant factor.

semaj and stainbrook are ice cold. home cooking in effect (really? no foul while the big white guy held stainbrooks arm on that last second putback?) only down 4. the 2nd half is ours.

Wow now that doesn't look like your crystal ball is in working order.... Nice win by PC without their best effort today.....

Congrats to Providence. Sucks to not get a win on the road, but good experience and I think the team will come back stronger from it. Seton Hall up next.

Tough game today, providence played with lots of intensity, made some clutch plays down the road, very sloppy game by x today. Looking forward to a good rematch at cintas.

As a jays fan, I'm not sure if I should be rooting for Marquette or Nova? Home team I suppose?
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.

Their RPI right now is 68, but a road win against a top 15 program would boost that up 12-15 spots in a hurry. They have another big opportunity hosting Nova the next game, but road wins are crucial factors for RPI and the Committee.

If the Hoyas can somehow take 2/3 against Creighton/Nova/Michigan State in their next three games, they could completely change their season. 1/3 seems more likely (and not enough to get back in discussion yet) but 2/3 would be great for them and the league as a whole.

If Creighton loses at home to Georgetown there is NO way they will be a top 15 team. We're not ranked last week, and a loss today might overshadow the Nova win enough to keep them out this coming week too. Creighton must win this to solidly jump into the polls.
