Only 122 tickets remain for Butler's game against St. John's on Saturday per the Butler ticket office. As miserable as this season's been, I'm glad to see the fans are still showing up. I think the Xavier and Creighton games are near sell-outs at this point as well.

Creighton game vs. Georgetown game is pretty much classified as a sell-out, even though there appears to be a whole 1 seat left on sale for the game on ticketmaster. Should be an electric atmosphere at the Century Link Center on Saturday evening, with the Hoyas coming to town and with the aforementioned "Pink Out."

Should be a great Saturday of basketball...

My picks -
PC
Nova
Butler
Seton Hall
Creighton

I think all 5 home teams get W's on Saturday, so we only differ on Xavier / Providence.

Only Nova picked on the road. Think that will be a good one to watch.

Marquette - Nova will be interesting. Will Buzz play the lineup that finally ignited our offense against Georgetown (playing frosh PG Dawon 31 mins and PF Steve Taylor 23 mins), or stick with the one that can play great D but goes through HUGE droughts offensively (see Butler).

Marquette fans are a bit more optimistic after seeing our PG look like a real offensive threat against Georgetown, which forced Georgetown to play us honestly (instead of sagging 8 feet of De. Wilson and packing the lane) and opened up the offense for our post.

If nothing else, I'm really hopeful for next year. Duane Wilson should be healthy, which will give us another legit scoring threat at PG. Dawson will have some experience under his belt. Derrick is a great team player, good student, and all around nice guy. I hope he does very well the rest of his career at Marquette and whatever he chooses to do after, but it is really nice to have a viable alternative at PG. The game on Saturday should be interesting if Dawson (Dawesome, as they are calling him now) gets minutes and plays like he did against Georgetown.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Huge game for Providence. Another win over, at least for now, one of the top 3 teams in the conference would establish them as a true bubble team. They really need to hold home court Saturday.
