Unreal shooting performance

I was just thinking exactly that.

Serious question: is going on the road and massacring the #4 team in the nation in their arena the biggest win in Creighton history?

Sometimes we lose because we shoot 4-19 from 3.

Let's play a game: Who would've beaten Creighton tonight?

FS1 showed the last time we beat a top 5 team was like in 1973 so it's been awhile atleast...

This, however, was not one of those nights. Well done, Bluejays.

It was 1970 against Sam Lacey's N Mexico State at the Old Civic that seated 9,000. There were over 11,000 at the game (including me) and it went down as the largest crowd at the Civic never to be broken.

Top 5 teams don't come to Omaha too often so there haven't been many (if any) other chances at home.

Probably. In 1963, Creighton beat #4 Arizona State. But it was a December game, it was at home, and it was a one point win.
