This.

HDMD also made good points. Though not alone, Wragge certainly made sure Xavier wasn't going to stage a full comeback, and some of the shots he made were rather theatrical.

My sense of this game is that Creighton is walking into a buzz saw. Providence looked very good. The atmosphere was electric. And it was a fun game to watch on television. But now we're talking about two battleships lining up to go broadside on one another, with two different styles at that.

Should Creighton win it, then they deserve all the accolades possible. I can't wait to watch this one. Of course, I have to make it through Xavier in Chicago against DePaul firstly. Crazy conference. Love it.

Creighton drops out of the AP poll (#26).

Slap in the face for the Big East. Take a top 100 team to the woodshed by 30 on Tuesday then lose to a Top 50 team on the road on Saturday (admittedly, got beat soundly) and drop from # 20 completely out of the rankings.

The media has a hard on against the Big East.

No ranked teams showdown tonight.

Man, last year Villanova beat 3 top 5 teams at home. Odds are, Villanova won't face a team ranked in the top 25 at home all season.

I think the Jays are going to take this one tonight. Should be a great game.

You can stay in the Top 25 by beating lesser teams. Providence is a lesser team than Creighton. Oklahoma took 25th in the poll by beating #12 Baylor at Baylor. Beating my Bulldogs is not that big of a deal. We aren't that good. Dropping out of the Coaches Poll isn't a slap in anyone's face. Beat Villanova and likely you are back in. Loose and you will drop further behind.

This is Creigh. They had 11 threes in the first 10 minutes. Pretty fun to watch. I thought The PC loss and drop in the rankings would motivate Creighton to a win, but I did not see this type of performance coming. Games not over though.
