PC leads 36-29 at the half. Despite the lead, I feel very wary of the second half. SJU has gotten really good looks in close and closed out the half on a 6-0 run. PC needs to maintain their focus and energy and keep attacking the glass and getting to the stripe. Go Friars!

St. Johns can run and jump. Definitely the most athletic team in the conference. If I were Lavin, I would have press constantly especially with shot blockers on the back line and the depth of talent. They need an uptempo game because they cannot succeed in the half court. Watching this game, the red storm has literally made 1 shot outside the paint.

I couldn't be happier considering we play the Friars in about 42 hours. Please go to triple OT!

At this point I wish I was rooting for another team that had to play us. I'd be so excited to get an automatic win. I don't think it's out of the realm of possibilities that the team totally quits now and we don't win a Big East game all year. Lavin, you are fired. Team, you are fired. Rip out the rug and start over. I can't even imagine a more embarrassing team to watch in the country.

Little chatter. But this was a great game. PC was up early, St. Johns fought all the way back. Then it went back and forth throughout both overtimes. Cotton with the game winning shot. Glad PC got the win, but each one in this league is an absolute war.
