Why would you be afraid of that? The Hoyas have the #11 recruiting class in the nation coming in next year. Georgetown is going to be fine.
Creighton's recruiting classes the past 4 years were not only unranked, they were pretty much uncharted. Our "unranked" recruiting class is now ranked in the top 20. All the ranked recruiting classes of the C7, except for Nova are unranked. Enjoy your recruiting class ranks, I'll enjoy our AP and USAToday rank thank you.
Georgetown has been ranked each of the last 8 years in a row and has reached top 10 in the AP/Coaches rankings at some point of the year in each of the last 7 years too. Year's not over yet and I wouldn't be surprised if Georgetown was ranked at some point in the year to make it 9 straight years. There is nothing out there that indicates Georgetown will not be a top team going forward.

Just because we're unheralded and you are the most heralded doesn't exactly mean much in today's world of change.
