Rational Jays fans know how fortunate we are to be in the BE, along with two other storied programs in X and Butler. I thought the OWH article was OK, as I think there is a real trade off in shooters versus athletes. The Jays will probably struggle next year with our losses in personnel, but the guys we have coming in, along with the young guys we already have, leave me very hopeful. I am just concentrating on this year. Glad to be in such good company. Also looking toward to a Butler road trip and the BE tourney.

Just a lot of people seem to be focusing on Creighton and our future. Fans from just about every school is talking about us dropping off in the future. Creighton is not going to be dropping off, imho. If we looked at Xavier for example, I could say that Chris Mack got to the Sweet 16 two of his first three years with Sean Miller's recruits. Last year you missed the tournament and right now you're on the bubble. Why isn't everyone questioning Chris Mac without Sean Miller's recruits? Other than Johnnies Fans who are already starting a turn on Lavin, why don't you question your own coaching staffs' future rather than Greg McDermott's?

One guy. This has been covered already. Unless you're talking only about next year, in which case you're crazy if you think next year's team will match this year's team. And last year, Xavier missed the tournament after a perfect storm of an offseason, so no one with common sense is questioning Mack for that.

You're wrong, it's NOT just one guy, it's even a lot of Creighton fans who are nervous about Coach Mac's future after Dougie's gone. I'm not any less impressed with Coach Mac than any other current coach in the BE.

Ah I see, your parameters are excessively wide. So your grouping includes anyone who acknowledges that Creighton's future success is not a sure thing? Because it isn't a sure thing, thought you might want to know that. They'll probably be successful and most people have said just that, but there are questions about the program's future that, yes, even Creighton fans are willing to admit. That doesn't mean they're talking about Creighton dropping off in the future, as if it's a sure thing. It is a minor possibility though.

I have not heard any major Jays fan worry about Mac or the program post-Doug. Will we miss the (IMHO) national POY? Yes, very much. But 99.9% of Jays fans know the program has been long in building, due to Bruce Rasmussen, Dana Altman, and Mac. Life will go on.

Yup, I'd stake money on that.

Ok, so my original post was dickish, I apologize. I guess I'm just kinda sick of Creighton having the worst history of any team in the BE, and feeling like we have more to prove yet I think we're holding our own so far. I wish there were four or five teams ranked right now and yes, that includes X. Good luck tomorrow, I'm personally pretty pissed I don't have CBSSN down here in Florida (I got cable to get FS1 for crissake!) and will have to go to a sports bar with a bunch of NFL fans. HO hum.

There will likely be streams available tomorrow if you want to watch on your CPU.

The way I view it, CU is still very much a newbie in this conference. We have a proud history of our own, but let's try to respect the great BE history and tradition. I remember well when Big Monday first started on ESPN, as daughter # 1 was a newborn. She grew up watching those epic battles between Saint John's, GT, Villanova, etc. with me. I am so happy with this move. On to MSG.

Didn't see any on gocreighton.com, please send links that you know of, thanks. I don't understand why CBS would buy that game and then shove it on CBSSSN. CBS is showing the Iowa v. Ohio State game, so why would they buy the Creighton v Xavier game and throw it on their third-rate channel?

Already predetermined by CBS to put it on CBSSN before the season started. I'll post the link tomorrow before gametime.

Just found it on the jays video and paid the $4.95, thanks for the advice. I don't know why on the game notes they say streaming video is unavailable... oh well, I'm in so I'll be good to go.
