I'm really surprised by all the sensitivity coming from my fello Jays! If we were still in the MVC could you imagine some of the Gibbs talk coming from our old rivals, especially from them Shockers! So glad that CU is in the Big East!

Because I, and it appears many others, would rather read a hoops FORUM than SteveR's personal basketball BLOG!
And now I read a guy who is averaging 10 posts a day (lately seems like 50) is calling us "clowns?"

Agreed. In time there will be a lot more trash talk when new rivalries began to form, for now it's fun to just enjoy the new competition! Speaking of, that DePaul vs Butler game was a great one!

I have gotten pissed off about it.

But the Xavier fan hit it on the head: we're happy to be here and eager to prove our worth. So when people basically say, Enjoy your year this year because you're still chumps no matter what happens this season, well, it pushes buttons.

I can think of only two posters who might be saying something like that.. Everyone else is more even-keeled, at most just suggesting that Creighton has more work to do than Xavier, Butler, and the established top 3.
