I think you guys should hold out Teague one more game just to be safe. No need to risk reinjury. ;)

Combined with the win over PC, I think having Gene back will really fire up our boys! Just in time to welcome the Jays to Jersey! :D

I'm looking forward to Saturday's game against the Jays. I'm also kinda curious to see what sort of following you guys have in this area of the country and how many of your fans show up. Your home attendance is obviously great and a lot of your fans are apparently making the trip for the tournament so it will be interesting to see how many Creighton fans will be in the stands.

Creighton has big alumni populations in the Midwest and West, no so much East and south of Chicago. Will be interesting to see. Will be hard to tell with Seton Hall wearing the same colors.

I live in Pittsburgh and plan on attending the Big East tournament, the Georgetown game (3 hours away) and the Xavier game (because it's on a weekend and about 4 hours away). Unfortunately, New Jersey is probably too far of a drive for me for just one game.

I think AA Dougie McBuckets will get Creighton a good deal of local media press leading up to the game. As for the blue colors let's just assume unless you can clearly make out a bird head it's a SHU fan...we need the count.

Sort of interesting side note with Seton Hall and Creighton. Our president, Dr. Esteban, has a daughter who currently attends Creighton for graduate school. She graduated undergrad from Seton Hall.

Yeah, I remember reading awhile back how Father Lannon (our president) during the whole Big East expansion time frame found out that his daughter attended Creighton medical school and decided to check in and make sure she was doing "ok."

LOL, the days of being in the 'beauty pageant', but not in the conference. Man was that an emotional rollercoaster.

So glad that all of us are off that puke-inducing ride! Good to know where we are all headed and that we all pretty much like each other! I really think that after the C7 split that we picked the three best available schools to join us.

I was at the game. Two things stood out.

1. For long stretches, they couldn't buy a basket
2. The Providence bench is really short. Like 3 players. I don't know how they hold practices.

The season is not over. They had an off day with their shooting. Even missed key FTs, which is normally a strength. Heck, they played better against Kentucky. They made a tremendous come back just to take it into OT and fought hard to get to the 2nd OT. They had the game won, but made a couple of key mistakes in the closing seconds.

It was a very disappointing loss. The crowd took it hard. But this team is better than it played yesterday. The losses of Dunn and the 2 freshmen have definitely hurt them. Cotton played almost the entire game but still was at his best in OT. They need Dunn and the freshmen would have given them depth. Expectations are definitely lowered after this and UMass, but they will win some games.
