Providence Repeats Same old Same old mistakes

As a die hard Friar fan it is very hard to watch or not watch the talent show up year after year. Are we going after the wrong players or is this school and administration just not in touch with todays youth? What do you think? but before you go look at the last three years of recruits. 2011 Henton (Great Kid/Home Run). Gardner (Never Played/No Show). 2012 Ledo (Never Played and no one outside of PC thought he ever would play!) Dunn (Great Kid/ but snake bit last two years now out for the season second straight year of injury to the shoulder. Now talk of red shirting the sophomore). Fortune (Great Kid/ However he was to be coming off the bench not starting) . 2013 Bullock & Austin (Out suspended haven't played a minute between them and fans a getting restless. AD and President seem to be lost in what to do and can't make a decision looking very amateur in the way they are handling this) Thats 7 recruits over 3 recruiting years and only 2 are on the floor for todays game Henton and Fortune. Will Providence ever be anything more than middle of the road if this trend continues? And if it does continue can Providence even be middle of the road or is that over reaching? I hope it doesn't but these are the facts and their fans deserve so much more!....

Paw Joe,
Desrosiers and Harris are Cooley recruits.
Also, there are enough threads on the Friars site about Austin-Bullock, and I think it's a bad idea to start them here. Actually, I think you guaranteed on the PC board that the freshmen would play either today or vs UMass... is that not true anymore?

Yes thats true but they haven't played U Mass yet have they?... And Harris and Desrosiers were transfers not recruited out of high school which was my point.... Sorry I didn't run it by you before posting on the site we'll have to remember to get permission next time......

Kiwi Gardner was told by the coach there was not room for him at the inn since PC picked up Ledo and Dunn. Kiwi went to a couple of schools and is now in the D league. We sure could use him now!

We are a little thin this year, but maybe we can still grind out some wins. And we haven't lost dunn forever. He misses this year, but we gain an extra year of eligibility. Think jayvaughn pinkston with a red shirt at villanova. You think they are happy he's only a jr?
