Great win Jays and way to close out the OOC sched. Now that conference play is upon us I just wanted to add this

What's the point of that? Seton Hall has no history at all with Creighton and seemingly no reason to start something like that here.

Gibbs is a very sneaky and crafty player -- but what he does is very much within the rules, always. He might walk close to the line at times, but he is about as far from being a thug as you can get. Unless you're a closeted UNC fan who can't let go of the fact that he actually dared to "wink" after fouling a Tar Heal two years ago, I'm totally baffled by this bizarre assertion made here, by a Seton Hall fan, in a thread about the Jays' final nonconference game (a game in which Gibbs did nothing at all, by the way).

Ehh, I saw it as lighthearted fun, Gibbs is the type of player you love to have on your team but hate him if he's not on your team. He's sneaky, intelligent and finds a way to get under opposing player's skin, that's all.

Exactly, that's why I waited until after the OOC.

Grant Gibbs is the John Krasinski of the Big East. Looks like him anyway. In the 5 Creighton games I've watched, I've never seen Gibbs do anything dirty.

I'd say Eddie Haskell of Leave it to Beaver might be an even better comparison.

A warning to other Big East teams: if you have a player that loses his cool easily, expect Gibbs to bait him into at least one technical foul this year. If we are lucky, maybe even an ejection from the game.
