It wasn't much of a game, but Creighton took care of business today. Only 2 days till the real madness begins! Doug crossed 2500 pts and broke another CU record by hitting his 38th consecutive FT. Not bad for a walkon.

Yes, but the fact that we lost back-to-back games also had an impact. Lose those two games with a few games in between and we may still be ranked.

I wouldn't take it too personally. A lot of people still have family stuff going on right now. I had Christmas with my mom's side of the family this evening, still checked the score on my phone when it was polite to do so.

think one thing that is hurting Creighton right now is GW is in the same neighborhood. I think some voters maybe are voting for GW and leaving Creighton of their ballots due to head to head(like 24th or 25th place). I think once/if GW loses, they'll make a decent jump...

The GW game haunts me. I don't think I've seen the jays or Doug play as poorly as they did in that game yet we still had a 2 point lead with two minutes to play.
