The depaul freshmen intrigue me. Producing because someone has to score on a team that bad, or are they any good?

I can't speak for the other teams, but calling Hart the only elite player of this group is not accurate (Unless you mean until this point). Jordan is arguably the best talent Lavin has recruited to St. John's. HIs figures to date are not tremendous, but you can see his talent. He makes the whole team better when he is in there (he logged 31 minutes during cuse game) Lavin is bringing him along slowly because he has a lot of depth (his minutes have increased since the beginning of the season). He has started the last several games and I think you will see him log more and more minutes.

Rysheed Jordan is not an elite level freshman. No way. We see this a lot under lavin, big hype, not much substance. Jordan might be good someday, Josh Hart already is good.

I don't care about the rankings. St John's fans should already know how little ranking translate into success.

Anyway, by 2018 I expect Josh Hart to be in the nba. By 2018 I would put even money on Rysheed Jordan playing for Temple or La Salle.

We`ll see during league play what Jordan has.

Your last paragraph is retarded son but keep smoking that good ish, it`s doing your brain some good.

My boy who is a temple fan is convinced that jordan starts his junior season at temple. Convinced. Apparently there are some issues that a school like temple is more likely to look the other way on, although he didn't expand on that (wasn't jordan suspended already this year?).

Hart is legit. Has a nba body and good instincts.

Have you watched him play? You don't think he is a talented? C'mon. Who did Lavin hype that does not have substance (just curious)? Jordan is already good. The kid can play both ways (great on ball defender). Every game they appear to be getting better and better and, it is no coincidence, he is getting better and better every game also.

2018? He won't be eligible for college but I can all but guarantee you he will be in the League.

Billy, this FriarFan character doesn`t know what he`s talking about. Saying oh his boy has a hunch, wow. Any inside info too or is it just a "hunch"? lol.
Well I have a hunch as well, SJU is gonna do big things. Hey it`s just a hunch, but I hope mine is the correct one.

Good point. I know they generally enter as juniors, but JUCOs always seem to be more like freshman to me. It generally takes them at least a semester to get their bearings and learn to play a little defense (defense is usually unheard of at most junior colleges).

For Creighton, the returning vets are making playing time hard to come by for the new guys. Brooks is the one guy who I think could break through and be a difference maker in the Big East.

I've been more of a Creighton doubter than most on this board because I think conference defenses will be able to key in on McDermott quite a bit and cause Creighton to struggle at times. The emergence of Brooks is something that is really scary though, he has the potential to be a player off the bench who can take some additional pressure off McDermott and make plays. Very interested to see how he continues to get settled in during Big East play.

Rysheed Jordan is back for the Columbia game.
Guess he`s staying right here in NY, FriarFan2

Are you disappointed? lmfao

One thing friarfan2 (aka ncaaball and 30 other names) knows is Philadelphia basketball, so I don't doubt he knows plenty of people from Temple.
