Nice job turning up the heat in the second half jays. 20 point lead with 9 to go.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

In the very beginning of the big east, it was Ewing, Mullin and Washington who were the players that put the league on the map. I think ten years or so from now, they will say McDermott staying for his senior year was one of those pivotal events for the new Big East. He looks good out there in his one.

Creighton looks great. Never took their foot off the gas. Cal knows they're cooked, so they're getting chippy, figuring they might as well play dirty since they're getting stomped. Jays getting wide open looks.

I disagree only because those guys were around for 3-4 years and had 100+ games to make that impact. I don't think 1 season will make anywhere near the same impact. I think the other thing that is really missed is the coaches that were around when the league started up. I don't think the group of coaches that we have are anywhere near the group that the BE had 35 years ago when we started up......

So will Creighton be ranked tomorrow? They win every game by 15+ points and haven't lost in 3 weeks, and have 2 good losses.

A few ranked teams lost this week, so there's certainly a chance.

just looking at coaches, where they were 29-
#25 Missouri lost to Illinois
#24 Colorado lost to Oklahoma St
#23 San Diego St beat Southern Utah and McNeese St(and has head to head win)
#22 UCLA lost to Duke, winning tonight vs Weber St
#21 Kentucky beat Belmont
#20 UMass lost to Florida St
#19 Kansas beat Georgetown
#18 UNC lost to Texas, beat Davidson

so looking Colorado, Missouri lost and will be out almost certainly
Umass, UNC lost but could easily still be ranked....

#26 iowa won only game this week
#27 Pitt lost to Cincy
#28 St Mary's plays late tonight vs South Carolina.

I'd kind of think Iowa gets in. And team to worry if you're Creighton is actually GW(who was #31) with the head to head win.

I doubt it, we don't have any AP votes, we are like 29th in the coaches so we'll probably move up a few spots there. AP voters are lazy, lots probably turned their ballots for the week already. I think if we beat Marquette, we'll get ranked.

2-1 on the night, not bad.

it'll be interesting to see the impact of that Marquette game. Marquette is so tarnished right now at only 7-5. I don't know how much beating a team that would then be 8-6 would impact the voters. I suppose if you beat them by 20+ maybe, but if it's a 5-8 point game, I don't know the impact at all...
