Dec 21 - Marquette @ #35 New Mexico (Tough, tough place to play)(RPI #26)
Dec 21 - Xavier @ #43 Alabama (Only non-conference road game of the season for a young, mercurial team)(RPI 132)
Dec 21 - Georgetown @ #6 Kansas (HUGE game)(RPI 4)
Dec 22 - Creighton vs. #60 Cal(RPI 64)
Dec 28 - Xavier vs. #80 Wake Forest(RPI 89)
Dec 28 - Villanova @ #7 Syracuse (Really tough game in the Wildcats' bid for an undefeated non-conference slate)(RPI 5)
Dec 28 - Providence @ #24 UMass (Good opportunity to the Friars)(RPI 1)

Feb 1 - Georgetown vs. #16 Michigan State (neutral - MSG)(RPI 25)
Feb 1 - Villanova @ #96 Temple (Borderline top 100 opponent yet a big rival...That's a recipe for a bad loss on the tournament resume)(RPI 69)

As you can see, this coming Saturday is probably the biggest day in the non-conference schedule for the Big East, with the final Saturday of the year being pretty significant too.

put the RPI's on. Really, outside of Alabama and UMass- and maybe Temple- not huge differences at all between RPI and Ken Pom. Also, the Marquette/New Mexico game is at Las Vegas, not the Pit(huge difference there!)

Thanks, good info to have. And thank God that game is not at the Pit! Sorry, Marquette fans, but I would have penciled that in as a loss already if it were. In Las Vegas it will be a tough yet very winnable game.

I'm a little worried about the game on Sunday. This is a different Cal team than the one that barely lost to Syracuse and lost to Dayton in Maui (with Cal's best player).
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.

Ken Pom has us going 7-3 this weekend- with the 3 losses- Georgetown, Xavier, and DePaul(with DePaul the best shot to win).

The toughest win is Marquette at 54% vs New Mexico.

everything else is 68% chance of winning or better.
