Great slate of BE Basketball, Bginning in Kansas and ending in New Mexico.

12p ET Georgetown @ Kansas (7-3) - ESPN > GU +8.5

2p ET Maine (1-8) at PC - FSN > NL

2p ET Youngstown St. (8-5) at St. John's - FS1 > SJU -13.5

3p ET Butler at Evansville (6-5) - No TV? > BU -4.5

4p ET Rider (5-4) @ Villanova - FS1 > VU -20.0

7p ET Xavier @ Alabama (5-5) - ESPN3 > XU +5.5

9p ET Marquette vs. New Mexico (7-3) in Las Vegas - ESPNU > MU -2.5

No more than one loss out of the hoyas, marq & X games would be very solid. 6-1 day.

Marquette game is in Las Vegas.

Ken Pom has 5-2 that day.

Think the Xavier and Marquette games are almost must wins. Especially Marquette- 5 OOC losses would not be good for them long term. Real dangerous game for Butler I think @ Evansville.

yeah- thank God the New Mexico game isn't at the Pit(isn't that one of the top 10 home court advantages in college hoops?)

I think 6-1 would be very ambitious. I think we go 2-2 with Georgetown, Butler, Xavier, and Marquette- all 4 either away or neutral. That Butler game is a real dangerous type game in my opinion. Xavier's 1st road game, Georgetown's 1st road game. It's a dangerous day

New Mexico is playing without Hugh Greenwood, who may not light up a stat sheet but is a GREAT glue guy for them.

Evansville will be a tough game for Butler. Instate rivals always get up for games like this, especially at home and Evansville is not a bad team at all (a lot better than Ball State). Luckily Butler doesn't have a lookahead game or anything with NJIT on deck.

This game is really big for Xavier's at large chances so hopefully we can pull out the W.

This is the weekend.. GU, MU & X are hungry for a statement win and finally look capable of getting one. Kansas (even at home) is a paper tiger with a back court that shouldn't scare GU. They have a solid front line but the hoyas have some big bodies to match-up. And BU has just gotta gut this instate battle out & I think they will.

Looks like no TV for the Butler / Evansville game. The brain trust at Fox Sports 1 feels that a bad Horizon team (Youngstown State) and a team from the MAAC (Rider) whose big win this year is over Rice, are preferable to a Big East / Missouri Valley contest. I'm not getting a warm fuzzy feeling about Fox Sports 1. First, going up against the NFL on Sunday with the marquee game, and now dumping a very important Big East game for a couple of beat downs.

Don't take it personally. I believe FS1 only has rights to Big East Home games.

If that is the case, thanks for the info.

Yeah dude, climb off the ledge. TV partners only get the rights to the home games in OOC match ups. If it's at Evansville then whomever owns the rights to the MVC has the rights to air that game.
