Show us 1 bracketologist who said they weren't a lock entering the BET. Just 1. Not your opinion not well they were 9th place so they couldn't be a lock. Show us anyone who said they weren't a lock......

Steve, you're ignoring the fact that they would have lost in the first round of the tournament. How they were ranked going in doesn't matter. You know what their RPI was. You know that their rating was sinking like a stone in the last few weeks of the season. Anybody paying any attention to UConn last year knows that they were decimated by injury by the end of the season. The committee knew that too. Their RPI put them as a bubble team. With a first round loss in the BE tournament, the RPI would have dropped further. There is absolutely no way that UConn was going to the tournament last year. I was a UConn season ticket holder last year and even I know that they weren't going to the tournament even if they were healthy.
