I just watched the Creighton-Nebraska game from Sunday. Wow. Like taking candy from a baby... the Jays did anything they wanted to.

Nebraska was basically like a rickety wooden apple cart that creaked its way onto a traintrack and got stuck. Creighton was the Acela bullet train going 200 mph down the track. When the Acela rocketed by, there was nothing left of the apple cart. It just kind of vaporized. All that was left was for the crows to pick at the remaining apple mush.

Val Ackerman attended the Creighton game and was impressed. The article says she is meeting with the Big Ten Commissioner on Tuesday.

The article didn't address it, but is a Big East / Big Ten challenge up for discussion...? We play a lot in rivalry games, so we're natural partners. Going forward, games vs the B1G will be played by Creighton, Marquette, DePaul, Butler, and Seton Hall. Xavier could play Ohio State, Georgetown with Maryland, Villanova with Penn State, and then St John's and Providence can choose from the others. PC-Minnesota for the Pitino connection. St John's could host Michigan State at MSG.

Or they could stick with Virginia vs Illinois and Miami (Fla) vs Nebraska...?

As long as the Big Ten/ACC challenge is going on (which I can't see ending anytime soon) there is no way the Big Ten does another one.

It would be really cool to see a Big East/Pac-12 challenge though, especially since FS1 currently has rights to both.

The Big East has a better chance of winning a challenge versus the PAC-12 than it does against the Big Ten.

Have to agree. Rather have a challenge series partner that only has a series with the BE. That is unless the BE is going to play challenges against multiple conferences I wouldn't want to be a second fiddle challenge series to the B1G/ACC,

PAC12 makes sense as I don't think they currently participate in one. Avoid an AAC one at all costs too.

They would love that...

These guys do a great job with highlight packages. If you want to see what Creighton basketball is like, watch the first few minutes and then the couple of sequences about the 5:30 mark.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.
