Glad to see these two games are being played. Intrastate and regional rivalries have been left on the back burner with all of the conference realignment.

I'd say over half of both of the CU and NU fan bases would like that game to go away.

Basically we feel that we don't need to be using a home and home up on them, and they have for years felt they have been the superior program (!) and don't like being forced into playing us.

I think it's time for a break.

I would think a chance to beat a B1G team every year would be a good incentive for keeping the game. Victories over RU will have that added benefit for SHU each time we close the deal over those guys.

Very far from being accurate. Everyone but HandDown wants this series to continue. The Huskers dodged Creighton for 40 years, all through the 60s and 70s whe we were a power and they stunk. No Creighton fan wants this series to go away.

I, too, would like a break in the series with the Skers. Their fans are obnoxious.

They did dodge for decades and then get the paper to print the bs about them being the big state school in the big 12 and therefore better than us. I came up with a solution that works for me- I just don't go to Lincoln for a game- get to watch a win and don't have to listen to their fans. Hopefully have a great day today!

Do you ever read our board or do you just post there? Maybe I should clarify and say that over half of the CU fans that I know, plus what surely seems to be over half of the CU board, would like the series to stop.
