Butler up 39-22 at the half vs North Dakota.
Green Bay beat overrated Virginia 75-72.

Butler's shooting percentage inside 8 feet must be 90% for the season... great finishers.
Cameron Woods is an amazing rebounder. Guy isn't even that tall... great hands.
Dawgs now up 52-26 at the 16 minute timeout.

Yep, another game slips away down the stretch. Oh well, we have one more shot. Great win by Xavier! Nice work being put in so far by Butler and Nova!
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Quality wins by Georgetown, Xavier, and the Bulldogs over tough opponents.

Colgate, N. Dakota, & Bowling Green are your definition of tough competition? What's St. Joe's qualify as then? Maybe my sarcasm detector is on the blink.

Kind of interesting the comparison-
Creighton vs St Joe's 83-79
Nova vs St Joe's 98-68

same location...

Is Nova that good, or is Creighton maybe not quite as good as we thought?

Well Creighton had to fly across country and Villanova only had to drive down Lancaster Avenue. Anyway. The Hawk is Dead and that is a good thing

Good day. SJU extremely impressive since the second half of the GT game. Seems they have found their identity.

5-1 today with the only loss being a very difficult game.

Nova really representing the conference well. Until another team or two steps back into the national spotlight it is good to have Nova dominating teams. They should almost certainly be a ranked team by conference play so good for the rest of the BE.

Those comparisons are never valid. Just because Belmont beats UNC, and UNC beats Mich St, doesn't mean that Belmont is a better team than Mich St.

This win is a big one for Nova though. This is a bitter rival in their den. This is their Super Bowl and we absolutely spanked them. Here's what I like about this Nova team which may cause some headaches for other BE teams. 1). These guys play very tenacious D. I can't imagine being out of many games with the defensive intensity they have; 2). There are 9 different major contributors on this team. There is NO drop off when Jay goes to his bench, and literally 7 different guys can put up 15+ pts any given night. No offense to DM because he is a GREAT player but I'd much rather prep for CU than VU if I we're an opposing coach.
Go Nova!
