After a loss all the fear mongers come out & say the season is over for getting a bid, which is cool. But when I ask someone to go on record and call out teams by name I get....... "well um" "difficult" "nearly impossible". Like I said which teams should give up NCAAT hopes b/c of this weekend?

After Kentucky's initial. Burst, this has turned out to be a war. The Providence kids aren't backing down. Cooley was smart to keep Fortune and Desrosiers out of there when they each picked up a couple of fouls. As a result, no one really in foul trouble at the half. The zone was very effective at slowing Kentucky down and protecting the PC players.

with all of the teams with 2-3 losses now, whoever finishes 5th/6th- if they are one of those teams- it's going to be very tough. No matter who it is just about now. The only one really exempt is Nova-but I don't see them finishing 5th/6th, do you?

wow Memphis just beat Oklahoma St.... it'll be interesting to see if Nova gets over them this week... Kind of like last week, wonder if the late night game tonight will impact it to some degree....

The A10 could definitely get 4 bids. most bracketology preseason I saw had them with 4 bids.

And also- if GW doesn't make tourney but is like 18-12 or something like that and in the NIT- that won't be a loss that would get dinged in the nitty gritty report. Already they have 6 wins. So they have a pretty good chance to make it where it won't hurt us in the RPI reports much at all...

If that happens, it will be pretty shocking. GW wasn't supposed to be anything special this season and before this game, their wins haven't come against anyone any food. Manhattan has probably been their best win before today.

Simple question, if the BE is now a 3-4 bid league b/c of this weekend, which teams now have no chance? I'm not even counting the auto bid from the BET?

No one is out yet. Johnnies got a bid in 2011 with losses to Fordham and St. Bonnie's. Those losses just have to be made up somewhere. I'm at Barclays and Friars are playing a hell of a game.

They could get 4 but is GW one of those? Their best win is CU. They lost to Marq by 15+ and while watching it I thought that MU was in complete control and GW was an inferior team. GW is not winning the A10. I think it is even money for them to finish 5 or better. I know this is all liquid and if PC knocks off UK and/or SJU knocks off Syr both can make big steps forward but for now I'm concerned. As deep as we are as a league, the Tourney is about very good teams and as a conference we have not shown that we have very good teams yet. I hope that changes. Let's start with Prov.
Go Nova!

Cayley-Stein is awesome! I'd heard about Randle, but C-S is the guy I'm impressed with.
