Considering Nova beat #2 and #23 in about 24 hours, they don't need anyone to lose to leap frog in. Teams that won are going to move back a game.

Yeah, their lead scorer fouled out with a lot of time left in the game and they couldn't hit a shot in the last minute. Too bad, I had that top 15 spot opening up for Nova. Hard to leapfrog if nobody ahead of you loses.

Actually I think you will see Villanova - and anyone else who beats highly ranked teams - leapfrogging people. Rankings are very volatile at this time of year with no one having a firm grip on their position because in most cases they haven't done anything to earn. Positions are mostly based on reputations and last year's results. At this point, teams are actually going to have to win games against good teams to hold their spots

I think when a team does what Villanova has done - beaten a legendary team with the #1 recruit and ranked #2 AND has beaten a second ranked team - they've done what very few ahead of them have done. Being undefeated, I can see them jumping right into the top 10 or 15.

That's it for the Hall today. That's a real tough one.

Tough loss for the Hall. We really need Butler to pull through now.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

And down goes the Hall against Fairleigh Dickinson in the Big East's easiest game of the day. Hope this isn't the start of a Big East meltdown today.

Interestingly, FDU's only other D1 win came against Rutgers.

Looking at FDU's schedule, they lost to Arizona by 50 points. They did beat Rutgers though. That point guard (Sanders) was the best player on the court.

Terrible loss...The down side of playing such a weak OCC is that it's everyone's superbowl when they play you. On to the next one.

That Seton Hall loss at home is gonna sting. Since it was at home, I'd say it is worse than the Mercer loss.
