Always say in these 8 team/bracket tournaments- the 1st round almost always is so critical(Georgetown got really lucky last weekend quite frankly- wouldn't have looked anywhere near as good if it had been FSU last game)...

Now for Xavier- instead of getting likely Tennessee and then either Villanova/Kansas- they get likely UTEP and then either USC/Wake Forest.

Huge game for Creighton coming up. Win= games with San Diego St and then either Marquette/GW. Loss- games with Charleston and then either Miami/CS Fullerton. Huge SOS difference there. But also- just we need Creighton to keep on winning.. Likely only ranked team we'll have next week- and maybe for a while. Unless Nova can upset Kansas or Butler can upset Oklahoma St.

Yup. This absolutely sucks. Have to play the crappy teams who won't help our tourney resume, have to play early games and have to play on AXS TV instead of at least being on NBC Sports. And on top of it all, the way we blew that was absolutely miserable.

The Xavier finish was absolutely brutal to watch. The refs got caught up in the comeback and the whistles killed any rhythm of the game. Plus, my brother-in-law was bitching at me because I wouldn't let him change it to the Ravens game on NBC. Rough night.

Jays are fun to watch on offense. And I haven't seen FT shooting as poor as ASU's all year.
