Iowa's weak schedule may bite them in this one, but this is a very talented young team. I'm hoping the X-men have the grit to beat them.

well some great news early Thanksgiving Morning. In Alaska Tulsa just beat Indiana St. Yes- the same Tulsa that just lost to Creighton- and the same Indiana St that just beat Notre Dame....

Me too. And Tulsa's first win will not be their last. They were one of the best 0-4 teams I've ever seen. Danny Manning will have them competing for the CUSA championship IMHO.

Toughest opponent on that list is Iowa. They're finally done with a massive overhaul of their program.

Would be another quality win for X. They beat Iowa, I don't see how anyone could vote for them outside of the top 25.

Wow you totally missed my point....I said when Brooks & Chapman go at Carson, meaning they attack him on offense...not when they stop Carson on defense. For some reason I'm guessing some BlueJay fans don't like the East Coaster Brooks, hope I'm wrong.

You are very wrong. I'd say that Brooks has made a splash with the fanbase. He certainly brings us a component that we were lacking before.

Hall, the fans love Brooks. The coaches say he is a great kid and great attitude. Everyone realizes he brings a different dimension to our game. They also say he needs to improve his defense. Just a fact and they know he has the capabilities to do so. In fact, Coach Mac has said he's on him all the time, because they know he has the potential and he is learning the system. That's all positive and Brooks has stated that he realizes they are trying to make him better. I have met him and he is very likable kid. The " East Coaster" is doing well and hopefully there will be more like him.

Like I said I'm glad to hear that. I was more talking about the posters here. From the first post I made about liking him on Creighton I've been getting that type of response....from CU fans. You'd think for a player who just got there posters here would be happy about what he can do right now, as opposed to what he doesn't do well out of the gate. I'm just saying every player has flaws and they all can get better with more games, including the AA, so why single him out. It's not like CU's philosophy is even based on defense like Butler. Just seems curious.

The most important question is can coach McD win big with the players he has, including Brooks, and I think so.
