Tough loss, give credit to Marquette for making it a game though. Wilson seemed like he was jogging to the front court, did he know there was only 7 seconds left???

terrible play call by Marquette. Jake Thomas should not be your go to guy down the stretch. Ugh.

Not as bad as it could have been, but still sucks. Hopefully the score is a sign that the offense is finally starting to gel, even if it's after two of our more important OOC games. We'll see...

I don't think the refs would have called a foul if they drove to the basket, they swallowed their whistles against Marquette for the last 10 minutes.

The refs really need to decide once and for all: is it tick tack time? Or are we going to let them play and bang people around like the old Big East? Which is it?! PICK ONE! You can't call tick tacks on one and turn the other way for the other team.

BTW, what is going on with Providence? I figured DePaul would get pasted but Providence down 17 to Maryland????? Not worth staying up for, time for bed! Tough day for the Big East.

I told people to wait on PC…they have some decent wins but have not really been tested by the traditional powers yet. Maryland is always at least a very dangerous team that can beat anyone any given day. PC has a very tough schedule coming up tonight with Maryland, UK, and UMass. This will show us what they are made of. Sad day for the Big East though…we just lost a top 25 team tonight. Marquette will be unranked and all we will have is Creighton. Xavier needs to keep it up so they can get in there. G'Town needs to be G'Town and Nova needs to be Nova. Anything less than 4 ranked teams in this conference is unacceptable.
