Iowa has been a sexy sleeper pick to make noise in the B1G. That would be a very nice win

Duke gets rejected with a great block with seconds left by Vermont…it's ALL BALL. Duke refs call it a foul. Duke wins by 1 due to the FT. Heartbreaking.

Duke, UNC, and Cuse are vastly overrated this year. They have been barely getting by low major teams. They are lucky they have home cooking or this game might not be over yet.

RPI is meaningless at this point...but a lot of fun to look at!

Absolutely, and it's going to stay a pretty sight for Big East. Over the next month I can see us cementing our spot at the top and hopefully Fox Sports 1 can market our RPI (god knows they're paying big bucks for us and the RPI info is FREEE).

I don't think that site is as good at RPI computation as this one: warrennolan.com

For example, Nolan's site has last night's Providence win already included while the other site does not. There are other examples too, but I won't list them all now.

Nolan's site has the conference with a higher overall RPI (.6019 vs. .5997) and a larger margin between the BE and second place Big 12 too...

What is really helping our RPI are two main things: a lack of bad losses and the bottom of our conference is a lot better than the bottom of the others.

Not a good start to Thanksgiving week showdown. Quette falls to Arizona State and Friars lose to Maryland. Texas beats DePaul.

vs. ACC: 2-1
vs. Big 10: 0-2
vs. Pac-12: 0-2
vs. Big XII: 1-2
vs. SEC: 3-0
vs. AAC: 0-0

OVERALL: 6-7

11/28: Butler vs. Washington State
Villanova vs. USC
Xavier vs. Iowa
Creighton vs. Arizona State
11/29: Penn State vs. St. John's
Butler vs. Oklahoma State / Purdue
11/30: St. John's vs. Georgia Tech / Ole Miss
12/1: Providence vs. Kentucky
Oregon State vs. DePaul

Wow that Nolan site is a great one. Like the set up etc.

He's got us at #3 now in RPI after last 2 nights. Big chance tomorrow with 2 games against undefeated teams and a 3rd with a 3-1 team.

The thing that is most concerning looking at his site- we're 2-8 so far against the RPI top 50. And the 2 wins are vs teams that won't be top 100 even- Alcorn St and Morehead St. Most of the losses are against teams that will remain top 50- Wisconsin, Ohio St, Wichita St, Oregon, Arizona St. Maybe Oklahoma and Southern Miss. Only one that I don't think will remain is Texas.

Lots to be thankful for this Thanksgiving in the Big East. The BEast pulls ahead of the Pac-12 with a sweep by Butler, Nova and Creighton over Washington St., USC, and Arizona St. Xavier loses to a ranked Iowa in OT. Perhaps we get our first BigTen win tonight in Brooklyn.

vs. ACC: 2-1
vs. Big 10: 0-3
vs. Pac-12: 3-2
vs. Big XII: 1-2
vs. SEC: 3-0
vs. AAC: 0-0

OVERALL: 9-8

11/29: Penn State vs. St. John's
Butler vs. Oklahoma State
Villanova vs. Kansas
Xavier vs. Tennessee
11/30: St. John's vs. Georgia Tech / Ole Miss
12/1: Providence vs. Kentucky
Oregon State vs. DePaul
