Two more to go tonight...

11/22: Vanderbilt vs. Providence
Oklahoma vs. Seton Hall

I don't know much about Oklahoma this year, but Providence definitely has a winnable game. Go get 'em pirates and friars.

Atleast 1-1 tonight, I expect Providence to win with Dunn. Seton Hall, not so sure...

We get a split this evening as Providence hands Vandy yet another Big East beat down this week but the Hall drops a heartbreaker to Oklahoma. The Hall gets a shot at redemption tomorrow against former Big East member and current ACC member Virginia Tech. Good Luck Pirates!

Friars down 16 with 9:38 to go in 2nd half go on a 27 to 4 run to win the game and pick one up for the Big East.

I've gotta admit - I turned over to the other game because I thought there was no way for Providence to come back from such a deficit. I was very pleasantly surprised when I saw the final score. Way to fight back Friars.

Not surprised with the Providence win, but Seton Hall gained a lot of respect in taking Oklahoma to a 1-point loss. Frustrating that they blew a game in which they had the lead late but still an impressive showing. Not supposed to be one of the better teams in the Big XII this year, but still a top 100 team from a power conference with a very good coach.

It was nice to see Georgetown just beat up on Kansas State after that horrible loss, especially since margin of victory matters in tempo-free metrics.

I know the Hall wanted the win last night, but is there anything better than beating the ACC? Is there? Nice bounce back by the Pirates beating Virginia Tech.

Huge week coming up:

11/25: Marquette vs. Arizona State
11/28: Butler vs. Washington State
Villanova vs. USC
Xavier vs. Iowa
Creighton vs. Arizona State
11/29: Penn State vs. St. John's
Butler vs. Oklahoma State / Purdue
11/30: St. John's vs. Georgia Tech / Ole Miss
12/1: Providence vs. Kentucky
Oregon State vs. DePaul

There might be a few others depending on how the tourney brackets shake out but we will have a minimum of ten games involving eight Big East teams against schools from the Pac-12, Big Ten, SEC and possibly the Big XII and ACC . Go BIG EAST!!

The X vs. Iowa game is huge. The Hawks are still a little off the radar, but have a great roster and will be Top 25 at some point.
