In our 2 losses- 20A 16 TO 1.25 ratio
In our 2 wins- 36A 20 TO 1.80 ratio
I don't think those are as stark as the 3 pt shooting.

Of course- bad for Marquette- the New Mexico game had looked like one of their better OOC matchups remaining. But- great for Providence- UMass could easily be ranked after this weekend and then be ranked come when they play Providence.

I doubt they'd be ranked too soon…they'd need to beat 2 ranked teams and stay undefeated I would think. I really like PC this year and I'm so glad to see they are getting it together because we need you guys to be good. But unfortunately the AP Coaches and Writers prefer the brand name schools. Big name schools with a loss or 2 get a lot more leeway than a Providence when considering for top 25. It's wrong and sad, but that's how it is. I feel like everyone but Creighton, Nova, G'Town, and Marquette have to work twice as hard to prove they belong in the top 25 because they aren't as proven as those 4 recently.
