Hoya's up early 24-12 12 minutes in. Not watching it- but looking at the box so far- Smith with 5 points and 1 rebound. 9 turnovers forced in 12 minutes is great though! not so great- only 1-6 from the 3 point line.

I'm watching the game (since about 10 min mark) Hoyas are crushing this team. 45-28 at the half. Joshua Smith and the front line are too much for K-State (19 pts for Smith, Lubick & Hopkins combined). Smith is where the offense needs to go through. He made some nice passes & opened the lane up for drives as K-State collapsed on him.

56-37 Hoyas w/13 min left. Hopefully, they should close this out. Probably face VCU next, if they win that game, might make Northeastern loss more palatable.

Hoyas are having a hell of a bounceback game. It's almost like losing lit a fire under their asses, wonder if any of our players are paying attention. Nice Job G'Town, up 63-42 with 11 minutes left.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Looked like a totally different team.. or GU looked like the team from the first 25 minutes yesterday and not the crappy one from the second half. Nevertheless, good to get a BCS win even if KSU is going to be awful this year.

actually 8 TO which is still good. KSU had 9 with 12 minutes gone in the game.

even more importantly 6-13 from 3 point range.

Oregon 1-15
Northeastern 3-16

Wright St 10-22
Kansas St 6-13

Losses- 4-31
wins 16-35

My bad on the TO's, but I think if you watched the game you might agree that it was that ball movement that created the good shots from 3. Yesterday that lack of ball movement led to bad shots (low FG%) and turnovers. When the hoyas are moving the ball they get more assists, higher 2FG% & 3FG%, and usually less TO's.

I just know in the Oregon game at least, we flat out missed some open looks. End of the day you have to bury those shots. To average 2 in losses but 8 in wins- that's just crazy.

In our 2 losses- 20A 16 TO 1.25 ratio
In our 2 wins- 36A 20 TO 1.80 ratio

I don't think those are as stark as the 3 pt shooting.
