He was unstoppable late in the Oregon game (and there were enough dead balls for him to sub out on defense lol).

VCU down by 24 to Florida State.

Glad I didn't see the Hoyas play today. This roster has some issues.

Wow, a rather uninspiring 58-53 win by Marquette over New Hampshire at home. Not sure how this team will win @Arizona State next week. Marquette and Georgetown definitely not playing to their potential.

12:30p ET - Northeastern vs. Hoyas - ESPNU > GU - 14.5 pts
(P.R. Tip-off)

8:00p ET - New Hampshire at Marquette - CBSSN > NL

Oh oh...both teams can't shot from the outside consistently and don't have a go to scorer yet!

While I suspect that this isn't the first time that "Josh Smith" and "dough" have appeared in the same sentence, I think it is the first time that Doug has been called "Dough." ;)

I have a feeling Marquette and Georgetown are going to tick off the fans of everyone else in the conference by playing mediocre to poor basketball during the OOC season and then figuring things out and playing great in conference.

I'm thinking the same way.

So as a conference, I think we're 29-6.
Of the 6 losses, 3 were against Top-20 teams.
Of the 3 other losses, in each game our teams had 10+ point leads that they blew; one was in 2 OTs on the road.
The Northeastern loss is a bad one.
The Seton Hall loss shouldn't have happened..
The DePaul loss shouldn't have happened, but Southern Mississippi is the C-USA favorite and was good last year.

Of the 29 wins, in only 2 did we have to make significant comebacks-- Creighton at St Joe's, and Bucknell at St John's.

Compare this to other conferences... odds-wise, it's amazing that our first true brainfart didn't happen til the 34th game.
