#1 RPI Conference

Postby whiteandblue77 » Wed Nov 20, 2013 5:34 pm

Led by Butler and X in the top 10, we have climbed to first place in the RPI (realtimerpi.com). I'm pretty sure we will not be moving anywhere from here. Great job to all for getting this done so early!

1. Big East4 From Last Week
2. Atlantic Coast (Down 1 From Last Week)
3. Big Ten (Down 1 From Last Week)
4. Southeastern
5. Big 12 (Down 2 From Last Week)
6. Colonial Athletic
7. Pacific-12
8 Atlantic 10
9. West Coast
10 Big Sky

I don't know how accurate that is- I mean right now, they don't have the American on there at all..

also, looking just right now:
1 Big 12
2 Big East
3 Big Ten
4 Atlantic 10
5 MVC
6 SEC
7 Pac 12
8 ACC
9 WAC
10 MAC

I have no idea how the WAC can be #9 right now. Makes no sense.. guess only thing is no awful teams by rpi standards(worst is 229 right now)...

still way too early. I mean- Northern Colorado is #2 right now.

Well, upended after 5 minutes... oh well. I still think we're going to be #1 rpi by a landslide. The American will have BIG rpi problems.

I will hold the obvious A-10 jokes.

Good for the Big East.
Big East Basketball is what it's always been. Great competition nightly.
If the Atlantic 10 didn't suck, why is everyone looking for the exits?
There is a reason why the A-10 left a team in the Central Time Zone...SLU, your move.

What joke would that be? That they are #4 and ahead of the SEC, Pac 12 and ACC? Yeah that's a great joke!!!!

Yeah, these numbers are huge. I mean, Georgetown is going to finish 240th in RPI, right?

VCU, UMass, and GW have been good. SLU has been good enough. That's it. Lasalle was picked to finish towards the top. How's that working out?

A10 has 2 of the top 4 teams right now in UMass and VCU. GW, Dayton, and Richmond are all in the 32-42 range.

They have some teams that are crazy right now- St Joe's for instance is 188.

It's still early- but to act like the early numbers are anything but good for the A10 is a joke.

Most SLU fans are ambivalent on the A-10 at this point. I think the bigger thing we need to worry about is our play on the floor.

SLU fans are in a constant state of pissed off.

It happens.
