I also watched some of the Memphis/Oklahoma State game. Pastner still can't coach.

Nice wins all around. Good win by Butler in particular against a Vanderbilt team that is nearly always solid. St. John's did what they had to, hats off to you. DePaul had me in doubt for a minute, but wound up with a solid road win against a UW-Milwaukee team that could win the Horizon league this year. Congrats to everybody.

a very good night tonight. Butler, St John's, and DePaul all with close wins. Nights like this are so huge when you get to March. It's just going to get bigger the rest of this week with Georgetown and Providence and Seton Hall in their exempt tournaments.

I saw that matchup and was just thinking, "Is anyone surprised by that result?" Memphis is consistently overrated, partly because writers seem to think Pastner really can coach.
