Can everyone see why this Johnnies team drives me absolutely mad? We have the most talented team in the Big East bar none, and yet we are making Bucknell look like Duke. They are getting to the rim at will and making anything they chuck up. We are ice cold shooting AGAIN. What the hell…seriously? I can't tell you guys how many games we were ice cold shooting. So sick of it. Sampson and Jordan need to stop settling for awkward jumpers. The only one who is allowed to take jumpers is Harrison.

I'm really not kidding…at this point I'd trust a decent shooter down at the local YMCA for an open look more than our guys right now. No excuse when you get an open look. I know it sounds like an excuse, but I feel like the rims at Carnesecca are like bricks. Every game we have a few 3's that rim in and out where they would normally go down otherwise. Even more reason to DRIVE TO THE PAINT! We have guards who don't drive. We are too athletic for Bucknell…USE IT! They can't keep up with us, so force them to foul.

I followed Lavin back when he was in UCLA. He is a hell of a recruiter but he is not good at developing players and in game coaching.

Yes, I can see exactly what you're talking about. St. John's will probably win this game because the talent gap is enormous. But the talent is not being used to best advantage. Not by a long shot. Even on D, no traps, no pressure. Basic man but it's loose wirhtheball handlers feeling no real pressure. No attempt to establish position to the defense's advantage.

I picked this team for 4th in the BE, but I'm really underwhelmed tonight.

I followed Lavin back when he was in UCLA. He is a hell of a recruiter but he is not good at developing players and in game coaching.

That was 10-15 years ago. I thought he would've improved by now. I guess not.
