Lasalle has struggled a little bit so far, but it seems that the alternative is far worse.
Big East Basketball is what it's always been. Great competition nightly.
If the Atlantic 10 didn't suck, why is everyone looking for the exits?
There is a reason why the A-10 left a team in the Central Time Zone...SLU, your move.

By the way, is me and stever agreeing a sign of the apocalypse?

the thing that is weird about this- if this was even next year- Providence would have a huge advantage- Vandy plays Butler tomorrow. Providence would have been able to watch that game and know based on what Butler does maybe a bit of a better evaluation of what Vandy does.

Yeah, me and you are agreeing. What the heck is going on around here?

Not really. They lost to a very good Manhattan team in double OT. Last year they lost at home to a bad Central Connecticut State team in the 2 ND's game of the season, but then reeled off 5 straight and 8 of 9. la sale is still what they were before that Manhattan loss. They just had a bad night against a good team. It happens.

Yeah, the ACC went 2-3 today.
Belmont won at UNC by 3.
Indiana State won at Notre Dame by 13.
Oregon State won at Maryland by around 10.
Florida International, under Mike Jarvis, lost at Boston College by only 3.
Howard was blown out at Pitt.

Update thru end of Sunday's games... games against each other
1 AAC 4-1 .800 3 other losses
2 B10 5-2 .714 2 other losses
2 P12 5-2 .714 3 other losses
4 B12 6-3 .667 2 other losses
5 BE 3-3 .500 2 other losses
6 ACC 6-7 /462 5 other losses
7 A10 3-5 .375 2 other losses
8 MWC 1-3 .250 9 other losses
9 SEC 1-8 .111 1 other loss

if you take the other losses and add them to the records
1 B10 5-4 .556
2 B12 6-5 .545
3 AAC 4-4 .500
3 P12 5-5 .500
5 BE 3-5 .375
6 ACC 6-12 .333
7 A10 3-7 .300
8 SEC 1-9 .100
9 MWC 1-12 .076

2 most overrated conferences off to horrible starts in SEC and MWC. ACC off to a horrible start as well. Their best win is against one of WV, Fresno, Fordham, UCF, Georgia, or South Carolina. Also helping us is the A10 not doing even just a smidge better. The one conference that is really doing well OOC is WCC so far. They are 26-3. 4-2 vs the ESPN 9- including 3-1 vs the MWC- including a big win for Gonzaga over Colorado St- and a BYU win over Stanford. They have 4 teams at 4-0 and 3 more at 3-0. If they can keep that up- that will be huge for the RPI end of the year.

So far, I'm more right than stever on the lack of quality in the Dumpster Fire. 3-7 with home losses to Manhattan (good team) and New Hampshire (not good team). It's a bad league, sir.

VCU and UMass playing well. SLU very mediocre so far as well.

Well for one- the A10 has played more games against the other 8 conferences than anyone but the Big 12, ACC, and SEC. So that will impact the records a bit. Also, A10 while having a lower percentage than the ACC actually can catch up on that way a lot quicker as they play more games. ACC 6-12 is something else right now.
