I respectfully disagree. They played a significantly better game than last year. Their shooting has improved. Point guard play and coaching, however, are questionable. Martelli's late-game strategy was poor.

St. Joe's today looked like a NCAA team. However, they shot the lights out from 3 which they normally don't do so if they can keep that up, they are definitely a tourney team. Remains to be seen.

St. Joe is definitely Jekyll and Hyde. Good win on the road for the Jays.
Big East Basketball is what it's always been. Great competition nightly.
If the Atlantic 10 didn't suck, why is everyone looking for the exits?
There is a reason why the A-10 left a team in the Central Time Zone...SLU, your move.

Great game, great atmosphere, great win for the Jays.

St. Joes is going to be in the NCAA this year, I guarantee it.

Care to put a wager on that? St Joe's is not a great program or team. They are not making any tourney not named NIT or CBI. Any win on the road is a good one I guess but trust me Jays fans this is not the OOC game that will be considered a good win for CU in. March. St Joe's is a 70-100 RPI team at best this yr.

A-10 has gotten off to a really good start. 31-6 right now- 4th best winning percentage amongst all the conferences. If they can keep that pace up- they will be a pretty big factor down the road getting teams into the tourney.

We'll start really seeing a lot more this week as those exempt tournaments really get under way.

Just saw in today's Ken Pom update that Creighton is the #1 offensive team in the country right now!

In that as well- St Joe's is #60. Even if they only make the NIT- it's still a very good win for Creighton. For one, it's on the road- and in the RPI now, that counts for like 1.4 wins. That's a pretty big one there- probably only the exempt tournament and maybe Cal will be bigger for them. Also- it'll probably be one of if not the best road OOC wins for the Big East all year long...

only ones that can be better:
Georgetown @ Kansas
Marquette @ Arizona St
Marquette @ Wisconsin
Villanova @ Syracuse

as a conference, we only have 16 road OOC games all year long.

No wagering, lol, but if that wasn't just a fluke Bembry could change all the predictions from the "experts" about where the Hawks will end up.

Providence plays @ UMASS and @ URI. Both were predicted by most to finish ahead of St. Joe's in the A-10.
