Doug gets his points by moving extremely well without the ball (Bilas, Raftery and others have said he's the best in the nation in this area), being fundamentally sound and having a high basketball IQ with solid instincts. I can't tell you how many games I've watched where I don't remember Doug having many noteworthy plays, yet I sneak a peak at the stats and he's got 25 and 10.
Get ready for a lot of passing and a ton of assists. Creighton doesn't run a lot of pick and rolls to get penetrators one on one. Lots of set plays with an extra pass or two.
Brooks is flash. Like TBJ, I doubt if he'll start over Chatman anytime soon. I could see the possibility of him playing at the two while Chatman is at the one as the season progresses, especially if Gibbs is on the bench. Personally, I like Brooks with the second team to help give them a spark. Creighton doesn't have a problem scoring, so his scoring burst is not as big of a deal as it may be in other places. Where Creighton struggles most is the defensive side of the ball and let's just say that isn't Brooks' strong suit. Now, in all fairness, Brooks will probably lead the Jays in steals, so he does have some value on the defensive end. Most importantly, he gives us something we lacked last year. My hope is the kid from Harlem gives us our ticket into NYC recruiting.

You'd think it was a fluke if you hadn't seen him do it several times before. He just has such great awareness. Just as important, his teammates have great awareness and always know where he is on the floor and look to get him the ball.
