Johnnies are horrible defending the perimeter and teams like Wisconsin that can drain threes will kill us.

I think bigger problem is no reliable shooters.

Well, Harrison and Jakaar scored 20+ but its the perimeter defense. Wisconsin had at least 10 threes - that's going to be a problem for the Johnnies especially against a top team. It's a loss, but not a bad one for them or the league although it would have been nice to pull off the road upset. Johnnies have some work to do.

if I had said St John's scores 75 on Wisconsin earlier I think everyone would have been really confident about it. but to give up 86? wow.

Terrible start but no shame in the ultimate outcome. Never a game they were likely to win.

Agree. I'm not surprised by the loss. If this game was in December I would be more disappointed than I am. But I knew it would be a tough start. Thought maybe they would have it together and steal it. The more concerning game conference wise tonight is Nova - they are in a dog fight.

The thing vs. Wisconson is can`t go down 18 then decide to get theirs heads in the game and think they can win.
Though when they cut it to 4 I was saying could we really pull off this comeback. Then right after the Wisky timeout they hit a 3, get a stop then boom another 3, and just like that it`s from 4 and back up to 10. Those 2 threes were the dagger in the heart.

I want to go atleast 1-1 vs the 2 out of conference teams we play so we gotta beat Syracuse.

I`m watching the Alcorn St. - Creighton game on YES. 75pnts with the under12 minute timeout, if we can`t guard the 3 by the time we play them then why even show up?
