On a separate note, Mike Rice was at the game sitting behind the St. John's bench.

I'm not sure I know what you are getting at. This wasn't an actual game, it was a scrimmage, and the fact that it was televised on ESPN3 doesn't reflect poorly on the league.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Yes, good for the BE. I just read National broadcast and laughed because myself and very few people I know actually get it.

Well lots of people in the NYC area get it, since many people have Cablevision which is supported by ESPN3. It's more popular than you think.

I'm sure you are right and it was only exhibition games but thank God moving forward we are not excited to be on friggin ESPN3 anymore. In the past PC fans would consider this National TV, it's not. If it's it not shown in sports bars it's not TV. Nobody is going home and going, let's see what's on ESPN3 tonight. Are they?

Everyone I know gets it but I live in Time warner and Comcast land and they both support it. But they are also the two big ones in cable. I know direct tv and dish get it as well so thats the big 4 not something to ignore thats for sure.

I don't think Directv gets it. But, Verizon does. So that'd be 4/5.
