Totally agree. We need at least a Providence win, and a split with St John's and Georgetown. And for gosh sakes, no upsets of the other teams.

I think it's kind of cool that we seem (at least for the moment) to want each other to do well. In the past I would actively root for Syracuse to lose every game.

There are more than 3 Big East teams playing on the 8th. Although I guess if we lose the big games, Marquette crushing Southern probably won't do much to balance the situation.

if we lose to Alcorn St(#348 in Ken Pom), Southern(286), Lafayette(197), Garnder Webb(260) on opening night, or Lamar(341), Niagara(176), or Grambling(351) on Saturday- we would deserive the derision we would get. Winning all 7 would not balance losing the other 3.

yes and no. We have to have some good wins- maybe even putting it a different way, some unexpected wins.

PC vs. Kentucky in Brooklyn Thanksgiving weekend would help PC and the conference substantially.

That'll change once the BE season starts, but for now it's in the best interest of the BE to do well in OOC play.

Cuse fans are the absolute worst so I completely understand why everyone would root against them. Same goes go for Notre Dame.
