We're going to use this chat for basic rules and chat, our draft will be held on November 3rd at 9pm EST! Each team will select 8 players across the 8 round draft. More details will follow in later posts.

Okay, I have sent PM's to a group of people who wished to join. We are going with a 10 member league, and I have sent messages to around ten people, if you wish to join you need to PM very soon.

Edited the original post to now reflect that the league is full. I will now go into detail about the scoring system and rosters.

The scoring system will be made up of H2H Points-based matches in a way similar to fantasy football. Each scoring period you are given one opponent who you must accumulate a higher score than based on your players stats. The following shows how much each statline will contribute to the score of a team. (Note they are the point totals per each of these, a player scores 15 points he gets 15 points added to the score, but for each 3 he makes, he gets an additional 2 points)

Point- 1 Point each
Double Double- 15 Points
3 Point FG- 2 Points
Assist- 2 Points
Block- 5 points
Free Throw- 1 point
Rebound- 2 Points
Steal- 5 Points
Technical Foul- -5 Points (Negative)
Turnover- -3 Points (Negative)

Rosters will be allowed to be updated every Monday but will be locked at noon EST (All roster changes must be made before this time on Monday in order for your roster changes to have an impact on that week's scoring period). Each roster will have 8 players with a maximum of 2 at any position. If a player does not play during that scoring period it is recommended that they are used as a reserve player.

There will likely be many problems that occur, so I will need everyone's input, just remember our draft date is set for November 3rd at 9pm EST. Thanks.

Do I have to have 2 Gs, 2 Fs, and a C?

Can I use 3Gs, a F and a C or 3Gs and 2 Fs or 2Gs and 3 Fs?

I mean Gardner is designated an F does that mean I can't use him as a C?

Just want to clarify before the draft starts.

You can have 2 of each of the 5 positions saying 2 pgs, 2 sgs, 2 sfs, 2 pfs, 2 c, But only 8 (Maybe 9?) Positions are available on the roster. Gardner would have to be used at Forward I think? I'm sorry for any confusion, I have not used fantrax before, so its going to be a learning curve.
