Excellent start to the evening heading to NYC with Lavin. He is an eternal optimist and a great cheerleader for the league. Said he expects seven teams to be in the running for NCAA slots with five or six getting bids. Thinks league will get 8 or 9 bids to NCAA / NIT combined. He's a hard guy not to like and he is good for the Johnnies and for the Big East. I'll tell you, I am excited about this conference and these ten teams and I am excited about Fox - they put on a good show. Big East baby! Here we go!
