Jay's already been offered a shot at the NBA. He's been offered shots at moving up to more national programs (rumored to be Kentucky's target before Gillespie). He grew up in the area and has been a Big East and Big 5 fan most of his entire life. He's not going anywhere for a long time. Nova is his dream job, and he has said as much every time a rumor surfaces. Some coaches find their spot and are very content (Boeheim, Izzo, Calhoun, etc.). I think Jay fits this mold.

His wife's also a Villanova alum.
Jay is now the dean of Big East coaches. This is his 13th year at Villanova, the longest tenure of any current Big East coach. If staying there this long doesn't tell people that jay loves his job, I don't know what will.
