No direspect to our national champs last year, Buzz or Boeheim or pitino, but the face of the BE last year was the first team all american Otto Porter. When the season has some games under its belt and Fox has Doug McDermott highlights on file, he needs to become the face of the conference. And I hope the promotions for the BE season and BE tournament highlight him. This is what brings the movie and sports stars, past presidents , Wall Street guys etc down to the garden to see the show.
I agree that Creigton has not had much air time because of who own the rights to those games, but I would be shocked if that doesn't change this winter.

Just saw the commercial before the start of the ALCS game on FOX. Gotta love it!

The "face" of the conference has rarely been a player. The coaches are the face of the conference in reality. Even in the day of Ewing, Mullin and Pearl, it was Big John, Louie and Rollie who were the faces of the league. As great as Porter was last year, I would not have called him the "face" of the league. Last year was about Pitino, Boeheim vs. JTIII, and to some extent Kevin Ollie who had the not so enviable role of replacing a legend. Don't worry about face-time on commercials. Let just win in the non-conference and everything else will take care of itself.
