Media is making it sound like one side is full of juggernauts, while the other side is a motley crew of cinderellas. I agree that west/midwest side is stronger, but it's not so lopsided even looking at kenpom.

one side in KP has 1,5,6,26. Other side has 12,14,17,20. That's pretty lopsided I'd say.

Not negligible, but the disparity doesn't warrant what sounds to me like an outrage.

Not really an outrage, but very notable. Especially if Miami loses. If Texas wins- the winner of the right side semifinal no matter who it is will be a fairly decent favorite in the title game I'd say.

If you go by the stat of the natty being top 20 in Kenpom offense and defense, then it's UCONN & Texas. CU is 14 & 22
