I would’ve said St. John’s too, but they beat them by 15 at home. Even allowing for reverse home court advantage, it’s hard for me to think that Nova still isn’t better than the Johnnies.

Yeah, this is such a big week for Creighton coming up here. 2 chances to really move things in their direction. Really need no worse than a split IMO.

So, when I said that Nova going 3-1 in the next four games, wouldn't be that bad, there was an implication in my head that the loss wouldn't be DePaul or Georgetown...

I also am very surprised with this result. I expected a close game, but I thought that Villanova would win. DePaul led almost the entire second half.

Feels like the top 4 are almost locks to make the NCAAT, but our max is 5 teams this year unless someone shockingly wins the BET.

Seton Hall has a shot. There are so many opportunities remaining vs. the top five in the league, and at least one or two of the bottom five will probably be a Quad 1 road game. They'd also have to avoid pitfalls against some of the bottom of the league too, so it's not an easy path, but it's doable.

No one else deserves a mention besides them.

Fortunately this isn't a mid-major conference, so teams do get hot down the stretch and make the tourney. 2020 Providence was 13-12 well into February, but 7 games later they were realistically looking at 6 or 7 seed in the tourney. With Nova looking hopeless, I'm hoping either SJU or Seton Hall can put together a nice winning streak.
