Hoping for the best, preparing for the worst. I have a feeling there will be more Blue in Moody than the Longhorn fans are comfortable with. It should help but I don’t see us winning. The key will be our defense, and of course we need to hit our threes. I know the guys have been circling this game so they should have a good game plan. Go Jays!!! Go Big East!!

I have an oddly optimistic feeling. Our 5 starters have played in lots of rough environments so I don’t think they’ll be nervous for the challenge at Texas. I have concerns with the backups though.

Scheierman goes off for 25+ is my hunch.

BE and B12 will have the entire country's attention tonight, but I wish all 3 games were on Fox. Home teams have dominated thus far, but I think we steal one today.

Sorry Big East fans. Texas was there for the taking tonight and the Jays laid an egg. I’m not sure what our final shooting numbers were but we missed like 20 consecutive three pointers over the course of two halves.

We will get better. That I’m sure of.

Very rough night shooting although we made a couple of late ones and Texas had to make FTs to win. Not a victory but I am hopeful that we will get better from this game.

Yea, shocked to see the score that close despite the shooting. But as Xavier fans know, close losses really don't mean anything.

Yeah i saw a ton of misses in the second half, some wide open. i cant imagine that happening again. and to only lose by 5 despite that, to the #2 ranked team, is actually a good sign.

really impressive win for UConn last night- that 1st game back after the exempt tournaments can be a real bear.... UConn looked sluggish for a bit, but man did they kick it on right before halftime....
